It is hard to overstate my satisfaction. The quality is perfect. It fits snugly without need for adhesion but you can still push the AirPods out with the charging cable. The lid can be slid off from the hinge. There are almost no gaps between the two parts. The hole for the button is exactly in the right place. Yes, it is real carbon fiber making it extremely stiff and light weight.
